STREET / art walks

Celebrations of neighborhoods exploring the art and history of specific NYC streets. Each walk is a unique conversation with evolving community. They highlight graffiti, street art and architecture at a casual pace & comfortable setting (often with custom soundtrack). You can join monthly public walks, or commission your own as a unique original art piece.

Textured, but mainly two dimensional painting and collage on reclaimed material and thick papers layered with fabric, paints, papers and matte medium. The subjects and characters are meant to engage with the material... and ideally the viewer. Collages can also be commissioned based on topic, or according to material given to the artist.

Created as historical reminders of histories that are relevant to their specific time and place. The histories are both large and small, but are typically under-appreciated. They come from oral histories and archival research, and generate community engagement. These, too, can be commissioned based on topic or material given to the artist.
